Oh how I have missed my blogging time...It is hard to believe it has been almost a whole month since my last post. To say December was a little wild around here would be an understatement, however, we made it through and are looking forward to fresh starts and a new year.
Finally on Christmas Eve I picked up my camera, I have not had it out since Thanksgiving! So here are some shots from our Christmas. I have a tradition of getting a picture of the kids before church on Christmas Eve (I say my tradition 'cause no one else is interested as we hurry to get into the car so we are not late). You can see everyone is happy:)
Christmas Eve
Once we get home from church our family starts to arrive. I have always celebrated Christmas Eve with my Dad's family. When we were kids we went to my Nana's house, this year was our house.
Love this one of me and my Nana, she will be 93 in February.
Everyone generously put up with my camera carrying....my beautiful cousins.
Poppie and Jake.
Gift time....it was so fun having a little one around the house on Christmas Eve.
We had two full days here, Christmas Eve, Christmas Morning, and Christmas Day.....just as we cleaned up one event it was time for the next.
Christmas Morning
I think all of the kids had a good morning!
June made us a card and gift....thanks Junie! I even made a gift this year. I put together a slide show of our year and gave a copy to each of the kids.
Santa may have lost his mind when he gave both of the girls Orbeez. I do love how when June picked them up for me they made a heart in her little hands:)
Once we had breakfast it was on to the next part of our day. We spend Christmas day with my Mom's side of the family.
Christmas Day
Each year my mom gives the kids ornaments....they will have quite the collection by the time they have their first tree.
We had a beautiful Christmas filled with fun, food, and the people we love. We are so grateful for our time together. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to the New Year!
