Something old, something new, something borrowed....This is a quick story about a Christmas tradition here at our house. For as long as I can remember, since the boys were little (18 years) to be exact, each Christmas I would bring out our Christmas/winter books. They only come out around the holidays. The kids always look forward to seeing our book basket and the books they missed through out the year. Over the years we have compiled quite the library. Well this year I am adding a new twist to our tradition. While reading THIS post I decided to wrap up my books and add another level of fun to one of our favorite traditions. Each book is wrapped and numbered and after snack time the girls will open the book, they are numbered 1-24! I am sure it is going to be a hit in our home, when I pulled out the books and started wrapping all three boys said, "why didn't you do that for us?".
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving...we have lots more festivities planned for today and have been enjoying time with Russ's family. Shopping request today, rubber bands for the "Rainbow Loom".
