To the farmer's market we go....

Well, it has been almost exactly one year since we put our house on the market and started the journey we are so close to completing. As I type our ceilings are being taped and will be painted tomorrow, our final inspection will take place in an hour or so, and by the end of the week I hope to have tied up all the loose ends on our remodel....YEAH! In the mean time we have been exploring our new community and settling into school. The girls and I went to the local farmer's market in our town square yesterday. I am really enjoying "city life"! We are literally minutes away from everything: school, work, activities, restaurants, and shopping. I feel so much less stress about driving and trying to figure our schedule. Anyway, now on to the farmer's market. Our goal this week was flowers.....

June was on a mission, she was in charge.

Next week our goal is veggies.

Earlier this summer we bought the movie "Ratatouille" and all Summer long June has been asking to make it. I told her once we get settled in the house we would head to the farmer's market and she could pick out the ingredients....does anyone have a good recipe?

I will say it is easy to get carried away at the farmer's market, there is so much good stuff. We ended up with peaches and flowers. June picked out the flowers and I picked the peaches.

Even the local animal shelter was there with puppies. The question of the day, "Can we get a puppy?". Easy answer, "NO". At least the playground was near by to distract the girlies from the very cute puppies.

We played for a while........

After lunch and a trip to the bus stop Kendall and I headed outside to take some pictures of the flowers. Much to my surprise Kendall was ready for some pictures, milk mustache and all. Let me tell ya, it is really hard to photoshop a milk mustache.

This little one is a crack up. I have to say I am enjoying her wild and sweet personality more every day. Life is truly an adventure with her.

Finally on to the lovely flowers June picked out. She did a great job!
