Fall is in the air around here and I could not be happier. The only problem with Fall is that Winter follows close behind (not going to think about that now). The mornings have been cool and the afternoons warm, just the way I like it. I am getting things settled in the house and today was a milestone.....no more workers! Yep, the very last details are finished, now it is up to us to finish unpacking, put up pictures, and tie up loose ends. One thing is good, this house feels like home to me, comfortable and warm.
Okay, back to Fall. The other morning before Kindergarten the girls headed out back to play. They picked flowers and ran around.....of course I had to grab the camera. There is always at least one protest shot. Still cute if you ask me.
Hopefully there is one good one too!
Kendall wanted in on the fun. I am going to have to style her better, she always has some sort of food or drink on her face. She is certainly my wild child. Lucky for me when she is a teenager I will be way to old to care. Don't you love that stink eye?
She is growing up so much, everyday she is changing.
Flowers for picking.
There is so much for the girls to explore in our backyard and lots of flowers to pick...and yes, weeds to pull and leaves to rake. We have not had to rake leaves since we left Tennessee. This year we have leaves again, lots of leaves.
June is loving Kindergarten. She seems so grown up, her face looks older, she talks about her friends, and is genuinely enjoying her time at school. I love to see the excitement on her face when she hops off the bus back pack in hand.
After our playtime outside it was time for lunch so we headed inside. The lunch of choice lately, PB&J. Earlier this week I bought a BIG bag of puffy Cheetos to have with the PB&J sandwiches, they were so yummy. Kendall thought so too. When I wasn't looking she went to the pantry cabinet to have a little snack....Cheetos all over the floor! UGH! I will have to put them back on my list for next week. (We like our junk food around here)
The kids did not have school today so we headed to the apple orchard, more to come soon. Thanks for the visit and have a great weekend.

Fall is here too, I should be more excited than I am...but the winter thing is really bringing me down. I need to get out and enjoy the fall a bit. Yay for the house being done. I'm jealous and excited to see pictures!
