No salt.......

No salt. I can not find my salt. I have found the pepper, but not the salt. Why were they not packed together? That my friends, is a question that may never be answered! Also, I have decided to stop unpacking. Yep, I am not unpacking another box until all of our plumbing issues are resolved. Hopefully, we will be able to drywall the ceiling next week. I want to wait for a few more days to make sure every thing is in the clear. Since there is no unpacking going on, the girls and I took some time to hang up these solar lanterns. June helped put them together while I placed them in the trees....with help from my little sprite.

She loves to climb...

Look how proud she is...

I can't wait to see these at night!

Of course my little sprite was off and running....

.....she kept running.

She kept running until she had another great idea.

You guessed it....let's fill mom's purse with rocks! She had a good time, luckily for me it was empty and drying in the sun from a juice spill. After June put all the lanterns together it was time to craft the boxes with markers, tape, and scissors (sorry no pics).

The kids are all getting settled into their school routines. Jake and TJ are off to a busy start. Both boys are playing soccer and have heavy school schedules. June is loving Kindergarten and has been getting off the bus smiling every day. Max is the only one having a bit of a tough time, keep him in your prayers. He went from a relatively small middle school to a "BIG" one and is having a slow start to finding his place.

That is all for now. Happy Thursday! Oh, for those of you following along, we can keep the window:)

Oh my goodness- I'm totally giggling. Looks like Kendall is still keeping you on your toes. :)

You sure have had a busy summer- I bet you can't wait to get completely settled & have some down time. Can't wait to see how the house is coming along.

Hope everything else is going well. Think about you all the time! Hugs!

Oh, so adorable! I love those lanterns and what sweet helpers you have.

I'm glad to hear your school year is off to a good start, but I hope your Max finds his niche. I remember how tough that age was.

Hope things are coming along nicely in your new home. I see from your earlier post you had quite a bit of trouble. Gah! How frustrating. I'm sending good vibes that things will go smoothly from here on out ;)
