Kendall turned one almost three weeks ago. I try to make it a habit of taking the kids pictures around their Birthdays to document their sweet faces and to have pictures to go along with their milestones. Well, I posted about Kendall's Birthday (still have to update her page:), but the pictures have remained unedited until now...mostly because I have not had time, but also because I did not love them. However, that is changing every time I look at them, how could it not with such a sweet face! It has been a cold and rainy May here and although I am longing for outdoor photo shoot weather, this was an indoor photo shoot. After all of that rambling here is Kendall, props and all to keep her busy while I tried to take her picture!
Here is to Kendall who has filled my heart with love I did not know I had to give....I just love this little one!

I love this one in both the color and the B&W...
Although it has been only a few weeks since I took these pictures Kendall has changed so much, they grow and change so very fast. Thanks for visiting us at June Makes Six.

What a cutie - I love the black and white!
LOVE the B&W....those eyelashes! WOW!
Look at her little adorable self! I love the little bow in her hair. Were you so sad the day she turned one? When my daughter had her first birthday I was so weepy...I felt like she was getting so big.

Oh my, she is precious. I love that dress!
I am in love with that B&W! I'm swooning over all of these actually!
Happy First Birthday to your sweetie! I have to say, these are ALL beautiful, but I LOVE, LOVE the black and white so much. So timeless. I could see that on a canvas. They grow up so quickly! Glad I found your blog :)
I love those shots. I know what you mean about avoiding certain photos when it comes to editing. I think I have some great shots & then I upload them & I am totally disappointed. Then they sit there.
I personally think you did a beautiful job & these are certainly post & frame worthy. I really do love that B&W conversion. The lighting is amazing.
these are sooo beautiful! I love the last one! What a great face!
Love the one of her and the book. Such concentration!!
