Friday night is usually "pizza" night at our house and typically we order out or make traditional pizza from scratch. However, last night I though I would mix it up a little and I am so glad I did! I decided to grill make your own pizzas using Tandoori Naan and pizza sauce from Trader Joe's and toppings we had in the house. These individual pizzas were a breeze and perfect for a Summer night, best of all the kids loved them, even Kendall.
Grilled Tandoori Naan Pizza
Ingredients
Tandoori Naan
pizza Sauce
Italian 5 cheese
caramelized onion and peppers
pepperoni
basil
I started by preheating the grill and then setting it on low. While the grill was preheating I caramelized the onions and pepper with butter and olive oil and assembled the pizzas. After we finished adding our toppings it was off to the grill. The pizzas grilled for about 10 minutes, I moved them as needed to avoid burning from hot spots on the grill. That's it a super easy meal that the whole family loved! You can print the directions HERE if need them.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Yum
