"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle but it will never break."
When I was younger I may not have believed or understood exactly what that quote meant. However, as I grow older I see the red thread in my life...from the gentleman I met at the Great Wall that lived the town over, from the teacher whose cousin was my best friend in the third grade, and from my young coworker whose mother graduated in my high school class. The thread is long and weaves us all together. I am so glad that June has been so intricately woven into my life. I am truly better for knowing her and am honored that she is my daughter.
I Love you June.
Now for the special visitor.....a ladybug. While we were just about to finish our photos a ladybug landed on my leg. What a special reminder of our adoption as we finished up! Have a great weekend.

I remember getting an email photo of this sweet girl on Gotcha Day. I printed it out and put it by Ken's dinner plate so he would see his new niece as soon as he got home from work! Happy Gotcha Day to all!
