The snow started to fall around eleven in the morning on Thursday. We were only supposed to get 3-7 inches, but when it was finished we had at least 12 inches on top of the few we already had. It was finally Winter. Although I am a Summer girl at heart there is something about a blanket of snow that makes me feel warm and secure. The snow fell into the night and in the morning we woke up to a wonderland.
The kids could not wait to get outside, the girls especially. TJ even joined in the fun and played with the girls. Of course he did the usual brother stuff, threw snow balls and chased them around until the screaming was too much to take, however, he also built a fort and spent some quality time hanging out....he didn't even complain when I brought out the camera!
We had a very full weekend. We spent Friday night at a high school fundraiser, Saturday morning at a grade school carnival, and today we celebrated Chinese New Year and my grandmother's 92nd birthday. Add in the ACT, soccer, church, preschool open house and I would say we had a rather full weekend....a good weekend! Here is to the start of another week. Thanks for checking in.

It does make everything look pretty. Great shots.
Gorgeous! I love waking up to a field full of snow. I hate the cold, but I love the beauty of the snow.
Really spectacular! LOVE the one of Junie and that sweet smile sitting on the rope :)
SO glad it doesn't snow where I live :)
