Happy Halloween! It has been a crazy week around here and it is only Wednesday...we have had emergency room visits, Dr. appointments, homework, guitar lessons, you name it we have done it! We have also had some fun. Monday night we carved pumpkins. Jake and Kendall did not carve, they milled around, ate candy, and made noise:) June and TJ carved together, Max carved all by himself, and Russ carved Kendall's pumpkin and as you will see from the pictures he took it very seriously.
The next few pictures show how the night went. Russ carving and the kids having fun. This picture cracks me up because it looks like Russ's head is coming out of the pumpkin....Sorry Russ:)
TJ and Junie were have some brother sister bonding....
Jake was eating candy....
Like I said, Russ was carving.....
Russ and Kendall's pumpkin.
Max worked hard all night on his pumpkin.
Finn from "Adventure Time".
June and the Finn pumpkin...silly girl.
And my favorite picture of the night. TJ taking a picture of the Deadmau5 pumpkin he and June carved.
Finally, they all made it to the front porch!
Switching gears, since today is Halloween I thought I would share a few of our festivities. Kendall and I ran some errands after we put June on the bus. We had about an hour before the parade at Junie's school and ran into town. My plan was to pick up some fun treats for the kiddos at the candy store, however, there was Trick or Treating for the little one's at all of the stores and restaurants in town. What fun! Kendall and I spent the next hour filling up her treat bag.
I think she had a good time:)
After our fun,we headed to school to see June. I love seeing all of the great costumes people come up with.
Kendall was excited to see June and of course ran into the parade....I love it!
I am typing while Kendall is napping and in a few hours it is off to visit our old neighborhood to visit friends and Trick or Treat. Happy Halloween to everyone!
