Better late than never, right? Even though Halloween has come and gone I finally got my "pumpkin patch" pictures together. It was a cool day and we made our trip late in the afternoon the Saturday before Halloween. Russ and I planned on taking the girls and thankfully all the boys wanted to come along too! We did all the fun things you do at the pumpkin patch: hay ride, kettle korn (actually Kendall took it from the other people on the hay ride), cider doughnuts, funnel cakes, games, rides, and of course we picked pumpkins! Who knew they would only be 2 for $5. Yes, they even have sales on pumpkins.
June and her pick.
Russ had to check the Iowa score...go Hawks!
Russ and his girl (one of his girls:)
Max and his pick and a reluctant picture...you will notice no pictures of Jake today.
My self portrait, holding Kendall and the camera!
Love this shot and the one below.
Kendall screams blue pea coat...fits her personality perfectly:)
Junie waits to get going with her pick of the day.
The crew...above and below.
We had a nice afternoon, a little cold for my liking, but nice. I was so glad the boys wanted to come with. They had fun helping the girls and I think they really enjoyed picking pumpkins too (don't tell anyone). Kendall had a day of firsts....first pumpkin, first kettle korn, first jumpy, first hayride. I had a great day to. I love seeing these five people together.....Russ too:)
