A Week in Review....

Better late than never, right. I have to say this may be my only post of the week, cause' this week is going to be full of car time....YUCK!!!!

Okay, enough of that. I wanted to start this post by saying "Thanks" to Darcy at My 3 Boybarians. A few weeks back I won her Sweet Shot Tuesday give away....a night photography class with Kent Weakly. I started the class a few days back and I am loving it. Kent has a great teaching style and I am learning a lot! I can't wait to try out some of the techniques I learned about and hopefully will get the chance to do my assignments and practice a little this next week....keep your eyes open if I can get the girlies to bed I will have some time to take some night shots (wish me luck with that one:)

On to last week. You may remember TJ was away from the house on a ministry/mission trip. We did not talk to him for a whole week! The first couple of days it was okay, but by Thursday it seemed strange not having him around. Luckily he arrived home safe and sound Saturday evening with lots of stories and hopes of returning next Summer. The kids had a great week servicing the local community where the mission was, they cooked their own meals, had a little free time, and even took care of a turtle they found. I am so grateful TJ had the opportunity to see how people live in a different part of the country and share his faith through his actions...

The rest of us had a pretty laid back week. The beginning of the week was really hot, just the way I like it, by the end, cold and rainy. The boys played golf and played with friends and the girls and I just did the usual stuff we do. I did get some closets cleaned out and did a few projects I have had on my list. There you have it, not much of anything, just a basic week.
