A Week in Review...

It occurred to me late Monday morning that I never posted my "week in review" last week. The last two weeks have been really busy and I feel like almost everything I do is a check in the box. I have a list, I check it off, not for any other reason than I should check it off and do what I am supposed to do. I would love to say this week is going to be different, really I would, however 'tis the season. Tis the season of multiple sports, multiple musical assemblies, Dr. appointments, birthdays, holidays, should I keep going. I am not complaining, not at all. Although it is really busy around here, I feel nothing less than blessed that I can do what I do for the kids. So I do what I can do and plug along checking off my list.

I mentioned Birthdays...both Max and Kendall celebrated birthdays this week. Max turned 11 and Kendall turned 1. We celebrated Max's Birthday at my Mom's on Easter and then again with his friends on Friday night. I would love to say we had a blow out bash for Kendall's big day, however, we opted for cake with the 7 of us and hope to have a family get together when the weather is a little warmer and things slow down just a little. I do have some parental guilt about this....Russ and I think the kids will all talk about us when they are older, about how we messed up Kendall's first Birthday. I guess we can pay for therapy for whomever needs it....

Well, it was a work day for me and I need to finish getting all of my plans together for the week. Not one of my better weeks in review, no pictures and a little whining:) Hopefully next week I can do a little better...Look for some of Kendall's cake pictures to come soon. Have a great week.

Oh Tiffany- I think it will be okay that her first birthday wasn't a huge event. Our youngest had an incredibly low key event & she isn't messed up for life or anything like that. :)

OMG, give yourself a break. you definitely did not mess up Kendall's first birthday (I know you guys were joking). First bday parties are for the parents really right? Baby has no clue...

Addie was sick on her 1st birthday (not to mention it was 2days before Christmas). We ended up not celebrating her birthday until 2 months later...and we combined it with Crista's Family Day celebration, which consisted of only 3 extra family members...and I haven't even blogged about yet and that was in February! Talk about a slacker parent. That would be me. Pretty sure you're good :-)
