Last Thursday I took June's 4 year old Birthday shots. We had balloons and of course a cold, gray day so the shoot was inside (I can't wait for summer). With my kids I have a limited amount of time that I can get portrait shots and then they are done. In this shot June was getting a little pouty. Kendall was taking her balloons and constantly crawling in front of the camera. However, I thought her face looked so pretty, pouty and all (who am I kidding this face always looks beautiful to me). I wanted to give the image a moody feel since that is how June was in that photo. There are lots of other "happy" shot you can see them HERE and HERE. I would love to hear what you have to say, I am participating to improve my skill. Any technichal advise or suggestions are appreciated!
