A Week in Review

Yesterday was a big day. We helped my Grandmother, "Nana" celebrate her 90th Birthday. Nana has always been very special to me and I have many fond memories of her both as a child and as an adult. When I was little we ate dinner at her house every Thursday, it was something I looked forward to every week. I could go on and on with special memories! As an adult I have loved to see her with my kids, she is even Kendall's Godmother.

The girls enjoyed helping Nana open her gifts....I think Nana enjoyed it too!
Happy Birthday to my Nana!

Kendall enjoyed the party too and she had a big weekend. Kendall took her first steps last night when we got home from the party. We tried to get some video today....It is not great so I guess you will have to take my word:)

Let's see, other happenings this week. I have taken TJ to the Secretary of State (DMV) to get his drivers permit twice. The first time we did not have the proper paperwork, eventhough we used the check off list he was given. No problem, TJ was off school this week so out again Friday, proper paperwork in hand. Secretary of State office closed on Friday, February 11th. Why you ask? President Lincoln's Birthday is on February, 12th so they close the Secretary of State offices on the 11th. Go figure, they are open on the 12th. TJ is off again tomorrow, so we are going to give it another try. The third time is a charm:)
The other boys and June just had a regular old week. The snow is finally starting to melt and our high temperature today was 41 degrees. June said it felt like Spring. I have to say I wish it was Spring. A change in the weather would go a long way for me....I am feeling a little couped up from all the "Winter".
I am including my button for those of you who want to link up.....Tabitha:) Grab my button and join me for "A Week in Review", I would love to hear about your week!

Really wonderful family photos. Looks like a nice time. My son just got his permit a few months ago. Exciting, but scary!
