Cake
1 package chocolate cake mix
1 (3&3/4 ounce) package of instant chocolate pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup rum
1/2 cup oil
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, pudding, eggs, rum, and oil. Mix on low speed until combined, on high speed for 2 minutes. Add chocolate pieces. Pour batter into a greased bundt pan. Bake 50-60 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in pan, remove and cool on rack.

Glaze
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 cup raspberry preserves
1 cup rum
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 white chocolate pieces

Heat rum and preserves in small saucepan, strain and remove seeds. Place cake on cake stand, poke holes with small skewer. Brush raspberry glaze over cake until completely absorbed. Melt semi-sweet chocolate pieces and shortening in microwave until smooth. Drizzle melted semi-sweet chocolate over cake, cool. Melt white chocolate pieces in microwave until smooth. Drizzle white chocolate over semi-sweet chocolate, cool. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

I don't know what is is about this photo, but I love it. It might be the out of focus star, the details of the cake and berries, the tone...it all works really well.
