A week in review..............

Here in the Midwest we call this moon a "Harvest Moon" and it was beautiful tonight. In China, under this same moon the Chinese celebrate The Mid-Autumn Festival. While we were in China two years ago we were able to celebrate this festival with a dinner cruise on the Pearl River. We ate moon cakes and Chinese food...............it was an interesting experience. As traveling Americans we paid our fee and enjoyed the "experience". When I look back, I think of all the Chinese families who probably had to save and save to enjoy this same experience. We are truly blessed to be able to do the things we are able to do. I remember thinking on that dinner cruise that while Russ, June, and I sailed under this beautiful moon the boys would be under that same moon back in the US and it made the world seem just a little smaller!
I am starting my review late tonight because I have been uninstalling and reinstalling software for our new wireless printer. I can blog, download pictures, digital scrapbook, but when it comes to software and configuring my computer...HELP! Somehow this new software bumped all of my default settings for downloading pictures, installing software, basically opening any device or CD, DVD and I can not figure it out. For now I can print from my laptop and download my pictures, everything else I will have to figure out as I go. UGH!
Our week was filled with much of the same, not to much to report. Cross Country is almost over for Jake, he has had a great season and really seems to enjoy running. Golf for Max was rained out, fifty degrees and rain, they added one more class in two weeks, I hope it does not snow! TJ had a late night soccer game last night, also fifty degrees and rainy. Winter is closing in on us here and I am not looking forward to it. I spent much of the day going through snow pants, hats, gloves, and jackets trying to figure out what we need to get us through another long winter. While I did that Russ did some yard work, the boys played, and TJ painted June's toenails. How cute is that....an almost fourteen year old painting his two year old sister's nails (and letting me get it on camera knowing it would go on the blog). You are a good sport TJ....most of the time:)
Have you seen cuter feet?

I also need to plug the people at I Heart Faces. I love this website! I entered constructive feedback Friday for the first time and had a great experience. Many people commented and I received great advice on taking pictures as well as editing them. If you enjoy photography this is a great site!

Wishing you all a great week! I am entering week 11 of my pregnancy and will have an update later this week.

I love how these girls have their big brothers doing things for them that they would not do to anyone else. Have a great week.

I'm making something fun for June for Halloween...you may already have a costume for her, but it is costume worthy if not. If not a costume, definitely dress-up!

Looking forward to Thanksgiving...we're going to stay at the Grand Geneva again if we decide we want to water park it again.
