Time out....

Time Out! When June is doing something she should not be....I count 1, 2, and on 3 if she has not stopped what she is doing she goes to time out. She usually does not like time out, however, lately she uses it to her advantage. The other day she had a marshmallow, I asked her to please give it to me. June's answer, "NO!". So I began to count, well on 2 she headed right over to our time out spot and shoved the marshmallow in her mouth. Clever, huh? This morning at breakfast she decided she did not want her waffle, she went to the freezer and grabbed the ice cream. Again, I asked her to put the ice cream away. June's answer, "NO!!". Again, the counting, again to time out on 2 with the ice cream. I guess I must not be the best disciplinarian because I ran for my camera!

The same thing is happening at our house. The counting is not working at all. It don't help matters that Josh and Kayla laugh at her when she is doing something wrong. The fun of two year olds.

Too cute! We do time-outs, too, but I swear he enjoys sitting still for a while. I could only imagine how much more fun it would be with a marshmallow or tub of ice cream. Ha!

Sigh...it's impossible when they're naughty yet cute at the same time!

Cheers,
becca
