June's super cute week(could there be any other kind)....

We had a busy week, the boys were home all week because our teachers are on strike(we are hoping they will be in school on Monday) So I had a little taste of summer break, lots of kids wanting to do things and taking care of a baby......busy! June is doing great...she sleeps through the night and is eating well, she has chunky legs to prove it. Her personality is easy going which is a bonus for me and our busy household.

Jake turns 10!

Happy Birthday Jake! Jake had a great week, he turned 10...double digits! We always celebrate on the day, Jake wanted lasagna and a cookie cake and for his party he had a sleepover with four of his friends. The boys played flashlight tag, air hockey, and a nerf ball target game. A good time was had by all!

The promised China pictures....

Cute as a button...

Today we had a big day! T.J. had a Sunday morning soccer game, yes I did say Sunday morning, in the rain. We sat in the car and watched the game, T.J. played well, however the score was 1-o(we lost). When we got home we had a special visit with June's great grandmother(my Nana) and her great uncle(my Uncle Tommy). After an afternoon nap, I lived on the wild side. I took all four kids to Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and then to church. Everyone did well and it made the evening go by quick...

Jumping June-ipers.............

June enjoyed the "Johnny Jump up" once she figured it out!

Time for pics....

I set June in the exersaucer to make a bottle, I turned around and she was asleep!

June looking pretty!

I wish everyone could see how cute this sweater is...it has a little pom pom on the top.

So far we are having a good week. June had her first check up in the US and has gained three pounds since her medical check in Guangzhou. We also did a little shopping, but mostly hanging out at home. The days are pretty easy, however 4-9 trying to move the boys around to their activities, homework, dinner, showers, and bedtime, makes for a crazy couple of hours until everyone is tucked in. I hope in the next few days to post some pictures from Beijing that we were unable to post while we were there....we will see how far I get on that!

June learns to groove...........

June received the "ChaCha dancing turtle" as a gift. At the begining of the night she would just move her face and shoulders a little bit. However, at the end of the night she was moving her arms and trying to clap!

More June.....

Today, June met her Great Aunt and Great Grandma! June is doing great, she has already changed so much in the past week. She has slept through the night, she is picking up food with her fingers, and she is teething. We are really enjoying having a baby in the house and the boys have not lost interest yet!

Firsts....

Now we start the "firsts"....first night home, first Monday, first soccer games, etc. June is amazing. She is an easy going baby, which I am not used to(the boys were high maintenance). She is adjusting the day/night thing well, getting up only about one time each night and sleeping for about 10 or 11 hours(also unheard of in our home). Today we received June's translated paperwork and found out what her name means. Shao means beautiful and Jun means monarch. Her name is important and for me it connects many of the dots God has given us to ponder in the last few months. I can see that God's hand was truly in every step of our journey to Gracie and June and I am thankful. As far as pictures for this post, it's not going to happen, hopefully tomorrow! Today was full of playing with June, laundry, unpacking, and T.J.'s cross country meet....
