Things are coming along, we have a few weeks until school and I am hoping (fingers crossed) to be in the house before it starts. The floors are done except for a final coat to be applied in a few weeks. The painters start tomorrow....now if I could only decide what color to paint each room. This house is different from our other houses in a few ways, it is darker, I picked white cabinets, and we went with dark floors. Any suggestions? All the pictures I pin are dark floors with light monotone walls and I love it, however, my other house had a lot of color. HELP!!!
Although it has been hot and dry the yard still has a few blooms........

I really enjoy visiting the pond, the pink flowers are so pretty, and you should see all the baby goldfish! We are all looking forward to getting settled soon.
My vote is to carry one or two neutral colors throughout the house and get your color from pillows and flowers and things like that...things that are easily changed.
ReplyDeleteI just painted my bathroom yesterday. It took me forever to figure out the color! I did a 50/50 mix of Benjamin Moore's Shaker Beige and Natural Wicker...I wish it was a little lighter though. Hope you're doing well :)

ReplyDeleteI am all about cool colors right now. We just went from a tan that read yellow to a gray that reads cool tan. Weird.
