Oreo Pops

June and I had a little bit of fun making treats for her Birthday celebration at school. We made Oreo pops. Yep, Oreo cookies on a stick dipped in chocolate and covered with sprinkles. Fun, fun, fun!

What you need:

Oreo Double Stuff cookies
quick melt chocolate
sprinkles
6 inch sucker sticks
cellophane wrappers
ribbon

How to:

1: Place Oreo cookies on sticks. I found that placing the Oreo on a flat surface and twisting the stick into the filling worked best. (less cracking of the cookie than holding them)

2: Melt chocolate according to package directions. I used the double boil method.

3: Carefully dip cookies in chocolate. I placed one side in the chocolate and then gently turned it to the other side.

4: Place on baking rack or side of a baking sheet, add sprinkles, and cool.

5: Wrap 'em up!

June had a lot of fun with this one and so did I. They are easy and fun to make and all the kids loved them. What's not to love about an Oreo dipped in chocolate!

Enjoy!
